Operating in the UK and Ireland since 2003, we offer a complete end-to end project capability for major infrastructure assets including design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance, and decommissioning. At Ferrovial Agroman UK and Ireland, the health, safety and wellbeing of our employees is at the heart of our activities. We firmly believe that our success in the British-Irish construction market is in no small part thanks to this ethos.
The Great Britain Health and Wellbeing week is an excellent opportunity for us to demonstrate our continued commitment to developing a healthy culture and lifestyle throughout the company both at home and at work. Driven by a network of businesses, Great Britain Health and Wellbeing week will raise awareness and promote initiatives and change among safety critical industries, offering a network which will give everyone involved access to information and resources.
The Great Britain Health and Wellbeing week was launched at the Ferrovial Agroman Summer Fete 2015 where staff and their families took part in a range of sporting activities such as Zumba, sports day, tennis and rounders. Guests were also able to seek advice from a nutritionist and occupational hygienists.
We have prepared a programme of different interactive sessions during the Week to be delivered on our projects with the aim of encouraging our employees to focus on their health and wellbeing for their professional and personal lives. In addition, we are also looking forward to seeing our Senior Management Team accepting a tough Health and Wellbeing challenge as proposed by the workforce.
